Terms of Use

Last updated: August 15, 2026

These terms govern your use of DevKit Forge (devkitforg.com). By using this site, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

What we provide

DevKit Forge provides free, browser-based developer utilities — currently a JSON formatter, Base64 encoder/decoder, URL encoder/decoder, JWT decoder, regex tester, and hash generator. All tools run as client-side JavaScript; we don't process, store, or have access to the data you enter into them.

Acceptable use

You agree not to: attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to this site or its infrastructure; use automated scraping in a way that degrades service for other users; or use the contact form to send spam, malicious content, or unlawful material.

No warranty

The tools on this site are provided "as is," without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We make a genuine effort to keep every tool accurate — the hash generator's MD5 implementation, for example, is verified against standard test vectors — but we don't guarantee that any tool's output is error-free, complete, or fit for a particular purpose, including production or security-critical use. See our Disclaimer for specifics on individual tools.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, DevKit Forge and its operators are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, this site or its tools — including damages resulting from relying on a tool's output.

Intellectual property

The site's design, original written content, and tool implementations are owned by DevKit Forge. You're welcome to use the tools for any personal or commercial purpose. You may not copy or republish the site's design or written content as your own.

Third-party links

Where this site links to external resources, we're not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of those third-party sites.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above.

Governing law

These terms are governed by applicable law in the jurisdiction where DevKit Forge operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
